The apartment is situated on the first floor of a well appointment block in the Las Palmeras development. With views from the terrace and master bedroom over the Mijas hills, and out to the Mediterranean Sea, it is the perfect base for a holiday.
This spacious and luxuriously furnished 2 bedroom apartment can sleep up to 4 people (2 in each bedroom). The bathroom has two washbasins, an over the bath shower, a bidet and underfloor heating. Towels and bed linen are provided. You can eat at the dining table, or on the balcony, taking in the views. The apartment is air-conditioned. There is a television with cable TV, a DVD player and Wi-fi. The kitchen has top of the range white goods, including a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, and a wide range of cooking, eating and drinking utensils, including plastic glasses for use on the terrace. If you don’t want to cook whilst you are on holiday, don’t worry. There is an excellent range of high quality restaurants a short drive away. Cabopino has a clean and family friendly beach, and the port has a number of popular restaurants. Albert’s is recommended for good food from around the world. It has a children’s menu. A branch of the popular Italian chain Da Bruno can also be found in Cabopino, as can the Indian restaurant Taj Palace. Calahonda itself has a number of lively bars and restaurants serving a variety of food. A trip to Marbella is a must on any itinerary. Take a stroll around the fragrant and atmospheric Orange Tree Square in the old town, and enjoy a glass of vino and some tapas in one of the many authentic and friendly tapas bars. Beach front bars and restaurants will tempt you as you walk along the sea front, enjoying the views and taking in the atmosphere.
Puerto Banus has much to offer holiday makers, with it’s upmarket bars, designer shops and high end restaurants. Further down the coast is the tourist-friendly Estepona, its fishing port the reason why so many good restaurants are situated there. Once you’ve finished your sumptuous lunch, why not take a coffee (or something stronger!) in the beautiful town square.
The development is a gated community, and you are advised to hire a car to make the most of your time here. The apartment block is served by a lift, and cars may be parked in the secure car park. There are 5 swimming pools in the development, and the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol are a short drive away. You might want to drive to some beautiful pueblos blancos, such as Guacin, or Caceres, or perhaps daytrip Marbella or Ronda. The development is situated high in the Calahonda hills, which makes for beautiful views and quiet evenings. Shops and restaurants are a short car trip away.
